Drug, HIV / AIDS and Life Counselling

Youths whose pre-assessment questionnaires have identified them as being at a ‘high-risk’ of later drug abuse are then referred to the counselling service. Ideally these high-risk youths will attend several one-on-one counselling sessions, and YCAB hopes to further assist them through additional programs.

We have also set up Indonesia’s first toll free 24/7 counselling service that complements our anti-drug campaigns (0-800-1-NO DRUG). The service allows members of the public to seek help for inter-personal problems, family problems, problems with spouses and significant others, as well as drug-related issues. We aim to help the caller identify the skills needed to deal with their problems, as well as outlining potential solutions.

Meanwhile YCAB also offers face-to-face counselling at its YADA Centres.
