Become a Trainer

We also run Training of Trainers (TOT) courses internally to qualified members of our programs which helps us to spread the ‘Live Drug Free’ message much further. Currently we operate the courses for the following schemes: Early School, Secondary School, Ripple Program and YADA Workshop.

Our goal is to provide community members with the tools and skills that will enable them to reach out and continue the drug prevention message.

An example of this is the way in which YADA members can become drug trainers for the Ripple Program themselves. Members collect points for the number of people they give personal training to. This could be to their friends, classmates or within their community. Members collect different colour badges as they progress and accrue additional benefits that keep them motivated as they continue.

We also facilitate ad-hoc training for parents and tutors because we feel that getting the message reinforced as often as possible can only further benefit those that take part in our programs
